Municipal tap, or a lake?
The single question that splits the catalogue in two, and the one most likely to produce a warranty argument if it is answered wrong at the point of sale.
Every system in the range except one is specified for municipal tap water. Not well water, not a rainwater tank, not a river — municipal supply, chlorinated and pressurised, within the feed limits the manuals set.
The KB-A95R is the exception and the reason the exception exists. It is rated to draw from a river, a lake or a tank as well as from the mains, and it carries the pump that makes that possible.
Why this matters at the point of sale
The off-grid picture sells well — a cabin, a boat, a site with no mains. It is also the picture most likely to put a tap-only system on water it was never specified for. If the customer's supply is anything other than a pressurised municipal line, the A95R is the model, or the answer is a pre-treatment stage ahead of the system rather than a different system.
