When you send an enquiry through the form on our contact page, we receive:

• your name
• your email address
• your message
• your company name, if you give it
• the model you are asking about, if you choose one
• the language of the page you sent it from

The form asks for nothing else. If you email, phone or message us directly, we receive whatever you send us that way.

Only to deal with your enquiry: to reply, prepare a quotation and follow up on it. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your information, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The form sends your enquiry to our sales mailbox through an email delivery service that acts only on our instructions. If the form cannot reach that service, it opens your own email program with the enquiry already written out, and the message then travels through your email provider like any other email you send.

We are based in China, so your enquiry is received and stored there, and only the staff who handle sales enquiries can read it. China is not covered by an EU adequacy decision; we transfer your enquiry there because you have asked us to answer it and we cannot do so otherwise (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR).

As long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. If it does not lead to business with us, we delete it within 24 months of our last exchange. If it does, we keep it for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

This site sets no cookies. It saves two small settings in your own browser, and neither ever leaves your device:

• the language you chose, so the site does not switch it back — kept until you clear your browser data
• whether the opening animation has already played, so it does not replay on every page — cleared when you close the tab

Neither identifies you, and neither is used for tracking.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages automatically records technical information with each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to keep the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify visitors.

Links to WhatsApp, OpenStreetMap and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them unless you follow the link.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or send it to you in a portable format. Write to info@komibright.com and we will answer within one month.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live. These rights also apply under China's Personal Information Protection Law.

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here and change the date at the top.
